Does anyone know a hauler who would take away a television?

Put it out for the trash collection. I believe they will take it if it is not too heavy.

If it still works, put a sign on it ("Free, Works"), put it on the curb late afternoon, early evening and odds are it will be gone long before the trash picks it up. If it doesn't, leave it on the curb and odds are that it will be gone long before the trash picks it up. If not, the garbage people will more than likely take it anyway. If they don't, you can call the garbage company for a special pick up.

Did that with a tread mill - gone within 30 minutes.

(If it doesn't work and your sign says it does, put it in front of your mean neighbors house - kidding)
