Ive seen some discussion of smells and train noise in some areas. Does anyone know of any potential issues I should consider around Units 177 and 198 (near the Fernandina recreation center)?

Thanks Bill. Love the friendly people at TV. Are there other things besides smells to consider?

I don't know what is offered at that Rec. Center but personally, I would be leery of a lot too close to a Rec. Center that has pickleball courts or a family pool.
The pickleball courts usually have an early morning "thwack, thwack" going on from the games. It may not bother some but I would not care for it. I looked at a home near the Bacall Rec Center and that sound discouraged me from buying there.
A family pool can get kind of loud during summertime or school breaks when the grandkids visit. Some people like the sounds of children in the pool and some do not.
Just my two cents worth.

Be wary of any lot backing up to vacant land. Today's "preserve" view could be tomorrow's Wal-Mart parking lot view. JMHO
