Attached is a picture of our "South Bend Lanai" otherwise known as our deck. This was taken this morning and our temperature is 7 degrees! This is one of the reasons we can't wait to spend winters in TV! So glad we purchased on 12-31-11!

That picture just reminded me to NEVER, EVER complain about how chilly it is here in TV sometimes. It's all relative and you're never gonna hear another "I'm cold" out of my mouth again! :spoken:

 Tom and Gail,

Welcome to TOTV! Very impressive that you were able to post a photo with your very first post. Great photo, too. It said it all. And I love your sense of humor (Northern Lanai). Hope to see you on TOTV often... and I hope to meet you in TV.

This is one of the reasons we can't wait to spend winters in TV!You just reminded me how easy it was to sell my snow thrower before we moved from central Illinois. My neighbor (who had only a snow shovel) couldn't wait to buy it from me.

We like Tamarind Grove very much. We are on Dividing Creek Path. There are a few Hoosiers around.I live on Ansley Path and I've been wondering what that smell was. I'M KIDDING.
Go ILLINI!!! :MOJE_whot:

If one could while away their hours and days doing nothing but skiing or tobogganing, it would be okay. But having to dig out only to have it already drifted into the beginning section, to get to work and the kids to school, and then getting into traffic with other bigger vehicles sliding at us sideways.....reminds me of how it seemed like a sentence to hard labor, hardship, and poverty.

There's nothing like sunshine with a soft breeze across the peninsula.

Hope all come up for parole soon!
