If so, check with the companies that build/install pergolas. You might be interested in the vinyl clad type as sun is extremely hard on wood here, even the treated, outdoor kind, IMO.

One thing I noticed though, is that the shade (which looks parallel to the ground in the picture) might be an issue here as we have frequent strong winds.
