I got a PM from a member wanting to know how long it took to build our home in St James and it got me thinking that it might be useful info for others who will be building in TV.
We ordered a Pearl (cottage) with a golf car garage. We signed the final order and put down our 20% on Nov. 7th, the pad was started on Nov. 11th and we closed on Jan. 5th. That's fast.
How long did the process take for you? :)

We had a Wisteria built. We signed the contract Feb.21st and closed on April the 30th. Citizens Mortage called us and asked if we wanted to close two weeks earlier than we had scheduled. I would say 7 to 8 weeks to build. Just for a comparison it took 7 months for our previous house to be built in Georgia.

I remember our salesman said for designer homes they are usually allowed 72 days. I ride my bike around Odessa Circle 2 or 3 times a week and I've seen just since July about a dozen new designer homes go up from start to finish and it seems like 2 months is about right.
