View Full Version : On to Nevada

Well, Newt lost big time in Florida. It is now on to Nevada where Romney will pick up another win in his column.
Newt's lack of personal character did not play such a big thing in Florida but it certainly will in Nevada - even though Newt is heavily financed by a mega-rich casino owner.
Odd how some conservatives who preach their own family values on this forum love the Newt so much. It would seem logical they would realize his personal life of carrying on an affair while married to his first wife, carrying on an affair while married to his second wife, and now saying he has repented is all hogwash. A skunk smells the same no matter what kind of perfume you spray on it.
I am still very curious as to who the G'Nopers will run as Mitty's VP candidate. It had better be a mild speaking moderate if they want any chance of winning the White House.

How about Jan Brewer for VP? She has shown the spunk to stand up to the President. She could do for Mitt what Sarah did for McCain. Oops......:a040:

Team Obama would love to see that stupid choice. As I said in an earlier posting, Jan Brewer makes Caribou Barbie seem almost educable.

The ticket needs at least one staunch Conservative. The country is Center-Right. We need to repeal Obamacare, appoint stict constuctionist judges and justices. We do not need another four years of the anti-God, anti-gun, pro-death type of regime we have now. We are becoming like Europe with Socialism.
OMG, (Obama Must Go)!

Well, Bavarian wants to pack the Supreme Court with strict constructionist justices (and I am sure he does not believe in justices who interpret the Constitution - but just to make sure, let's get the strict constructionists anyhow).
Any kind of gun is perfectly fine to be owned by an American. Let's all get Streetsweeper Shotguns (15 round rotary magazine), M-16's with extra capacity magazines, Mac-10 pistols with extended magazines, Teflon coated ammunition so it will go through Kevlar vests, and may as well throw in a few stun guns for the fun of it.
We can carry these anywhere since that is our American right. Carry them into church (maybe gun down an abortion doctor while he is in church - oh, that has already been done), carry the weapons into a bar and get drunk and go home and accidently shoot your wife or child as they come home late.
When they need health insurance for the gunshot wounds, Obamacare will have been taken away so you end up owing hundreds of thousands of dollars for medical care.
Yep, just what we need.

Donald Trump endorsed Mitt and Newt got kicked aside - again. Pitiful that an endorsement by Trump would mean anything to anyone. He did have a good reality television show - and has gone bankrupt by skirting laws more times than most of us could imagine.

[QUOTE=buggyone;447719]Teflon coated ammunition so it will go through Kevlar vests.[QUOTE]
Myth: Teflon bullets are designed to penetrate police bullet-proof vests
Fact: KTW rounds are Teflon coated to prevent heat build-up in a police officer’s gun barrel, not to pierce body armor
Google Gun Facats, Version 6.0
You really need to get a better education.

One thing we have to watch for tonight is the possible impact of the Sharon Angle endorsement and kicking Rick Santorum up to.........8 percent.

janmcn - That was a great posting about Sharon Angle. Keep it up. These uber-conservatives are amazing, aren't they?
Do I really give a hoot if a Teflon coated bullet can or cannot pierce a Kevlar vest? No, I don't. Seems as though uber-conservatives do not understand sarcasm, either.

DaleMn Obama and his DOJ stormtroopers have crossed the constituional line more than once regarding Arizona. I suspect more people were upset that it was a woman pointing her finger at a man then the pointing...I'm just saying

Conservatives rule in Nevada. (should I have said "uber", like you like to do?)

Some posters should think twice about posts on a public forum - you never know who is reading them and what might be read into the posts.

You'd have to be a real ninny not to see the pointed humor in the post, and have to be a total ninny to read it as anything else but news oriented humor.
It calls for thought and nothing else.
It's also the truth of what constitutes "border security" for the Obama White House. You can't make this stuff up.

Back to the topic of Nevada. I think Mitt's wife is a real political asset. Newt started his new "positive" campaign by bad mouthing Mitt. :ohdear:

THis is one place where, although I may not agree with Brewer 100%, I *am* sympathetic to the problems presented. The Federal government IS failing at performing one of the duties charged to it under the COnstitution. When a State takes matters into it's own hands - instead of saying "No, don't do that - we'll step up our patrols and DO OUR JOB" - they say "No, don't do that and we won't either".
That's just plain wrong.
