Dr. Kalpana Desai - MIA

Although we patients received a card announcing Dr. K was moving, there was no date posted. I went by the original office space today, on Old Camp Road, and the office is empty and locked up. When I called the practice number, I got a "number no longer in service" message. If she did in fact move to an office on 466 at Rolling Acres road, does anyone have a phone number? Appreciate your input.

Yeah...would like a phone number as I have an appointment with her in a few days!!! The new location is a bit hard to get to since there isn't access on 466 coming from the west. We've misplaced the card and I don't have the suite number she's supposed to be in!! Can anyone help with that as well??

As a side-note to this the card said something like "To serve our patients better....." Something that could have helped us better was to give a "moving date" AND a phone number or ANY information to help us out in a more timely manner. I had had an appointment with her about a week before we got the card and nothing was mentioned at that time about the office moving.

I picked Dr. K because she was cart accessible. Now that she has moved to 466 at Rolling acres, I am unsure if I can get there. I was told that I could drive the cart to the soccer field, then walk across the parking lot into the medical buildings' lot. Dont know how to get to the Woodshop via cart - anyone help with that information too?

I JUST did some investigating on Dr. Desai. I called the phone number on her business card and they answered and they have moved! The Suite # is 773...phone number is 352-259-6949. So she's not MIA after all!!!!

Now if we can find out how to get there by cart it would be wonderful...but it sounds like a bit of a trick from the previous poster. I too thought she'd be a good selection (for many reasons) because of Old Camp Rd. being so accessible! Though her office was a bit compact...so maybe that's why the move!

Thank you for the input. I just googled the map and see a trail I can probably use, although I might need a machete to hack through the shrubs adjacent to the medical buildings' parking lot :gc:

The address is 773 Hwy 466, Lady Lake. The office is located in the collection of professional buildings located on the north side of Hwy 466, very near the intersection of Rolling Acres Road and Hwy 466.
