How's the water pressure?

As you may have guessed, I have another question. How is the water pressure in TV? Ive have houses that just about trickle water and others that hurt your skin when you shower. Hopefully TV pressure is somewhere in between.

I would say the water pressure is just fine here.

The water pressure down here near 466a is pretty good. However, you might find that it takes a bit of time for hot water to reach whatever faucet your using.

BTW, itinially I was going to say that my water pressure is a little low now, but I'll be taking my water pill in a moment and later today it should be back up there!

On another thread, someone mentioned the water pressure sometimes varies when the water towers are filled. I just replaced the expansion tank on my water heater. Had to set the pressure in the tank to match the incoming pressure. I measured it at 80 psi. That's plenty here in Lynnhaven.

Slightly off subect: How does the water taste?
At home the water is fabulous, better than bottled. Where we currently snowbird ( Okeechobee, FL) the water is horrible, have to drink with lemon to dull down the chlorine taste.

No issues at our home,...infrastructure in The Villages is very good. :)

Water here in TV is difficult for us to get used to. Have well water up North home, and are fortunate to have really good water there. Here in TV have to use a water filter pitcher or bottled for drinking water. Plus it doesn't get cold enough for us just out of the tap. Also, it does take awhile for hot water to come through for some reason.

SkyGuy go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy a timed circulator pumpto have installed on your water heater.

It keeps the water at the most distant faucet warm. You can set the timer so it has it warm when you want it for showers etc.

I'm getting one installed ASAP when I come down in Feb. We all pay for gallons of wasted water waiting for the warm water to start.

That's cool car guys...good info. I have heard some say that hot water takes a long time to get to the faucet. We'll have to get something too.
