Biz.... are you sure??? MEMason and a couple of others said it was at Saddlebrook at 7pm and provided a link to the Apple users group website with the date and time.

How about a once and for all pronouncement on the actual time/location?

There is NOT an iDevice meeting at 1:00pm today at Laurel Manor.

There IS an iPad workshop scheduled in the Rec. Center News, but I have no idea who is sponsoring or conducting the workshop. Might be a good meeting...I don't know ????

The Mac User Group is sponsoring an iDevice meeting at Saddlebrook tonight (Feb. 13) at 7:00pm ~ 9:00pm. It includes all devices that run the iOS...iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, etc... If you have questions or need help with your iDevice, this is the meeting to attend. There will be folks there to help you.

Again, the new Apple iClub website and information is here: Apple iClub | The Villages, Florida (http://www.appleiclub.com/)

The current Recreation News (Page 15) shows Indoor Activities - Laurel Manor - Monday, Feb 13

1p.m. IPad Workshop (However, this is NOT listed in the "Club News" section.)

What is listed under Club News (page 44) is

"iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch Club will meet at 7 p.m. the second Monday of each month in the Fox Grove Room at Saddlebrook Recreation Center."

The 1pm meeting at Laurel Manor is sponsored by the Villages Computer Club (i.e. 'Windows"). :clap2:

The 1 PM meeting re: iPads, held at Laurel Manors today, was extremely informative and nicely presented by a member of the Villages Computer Club. Many subjects ranging from basic instructions to neat apps for the iPad were covered. However, due to the large amount of attendees, the facility ran out of chairs and many people had to stand.

The other meeting at 7 PM tonight at Saddlebrook is presented by the Mac Club. I plan to attend that also.

From the above posts, there seems to been some confusion about both meetings.
