Wow, indeed! It DOES look like a dealership. Makes me want to come in and buy your car.... Very nice.

A few ??s, if I may.... Did you shop around? Was the company recommended to you? Any thoughts on the cost for a 2-car plus golf cart garage? What about maintenance....timewise and costwise?

I'm not there now but I will tell you what I know.

I'm told it's not slick at all!!! Something in it to give you traction when you walk. We are going to invite Gracie over to test walk it when we get there.

Since the company does different applications, I don't want to quote a price. I would suggest you call them and see what they have!

The product is not a Home Depot or Lowes product which I believe is the WOW factor! This is a professional grade product!

The company was recommended by Pooters... Who you all know I trust!!! He is known for taking care of a problem should it arise! I will tell you EVERYTHING when it's all done!

More to come!!!!

Excellent point. I'd like to keep my skating days in the past, or at least at my choosing....

If slick is an issue are there any options like, perhaps, an abrasive sand-like ingredient?

Good luck with your new floor. If you've got an electric golf cart, you'll need to protect the floor from battery acid. We've also discovered that Simple Green does not do well with epoxy, and will ruin epoxy. So it's not as impervious as they'd have you believe.

This is what I found about care and cleaning of an epoxy floor!

http://artistic1.ipower.com/index.html

I told hubby about the Simple Green and he informed me that the floor would NEVER get dirty!!!!

This my friends is why men should not be in charge of cleaning!!!!

Yeah... I kinda thought Gracie wouldn't test the floor! To be honest... I don't want her to... I believe in the old adage.... protect the person who feeds you... or something like that... and Gracie feeds me!!! :) I don't want anything to happen to that lady!

Now look. I can remain upright if I concentrate.

That is one dandy lookin' garage floor but it looks a little bit slickery.

Can I just come in the front door or go around to the lanai?

OK - I am proud of what my wife gets done with the house and the garage floor. If you want to take off your shoes when you visit you can come through the garage. If you don't want to take your shoes off then you can come through the front door just like Gracie.
Mike - you betcha this will be 5S'd. I have already bought two new tool boxes to put the tools in on rubber wheels so they won't mess up the floor.

I'm deeply concerned about Angie parking her new cart in there. I'm going to talk to her about parking the carts and car outside. If I come to TV on the 25th with a black eye you will all know I lost the conversation aka argument.

PS. I will be saving old toothbrushes to clean out the cracks. I'm thinking some microfiber cloth and Windex will be the way to clean this. I'm going to need some new kneepads to do this. Guys - no comments please.

To my wife - Have I told you lately that I appreciate you? Thanks for making this happen!

Bill Cosby after a argument with his wife stated!

"I'm going out to the garage to kiss the Car because I know the Car Loves me."When I sold our home peole said my garage was cleaner than their kitchens.

Of course 2k worth of Race Deck Patterned Tiles did not hurt!

:coolsmiley::1rotfl:Angie, I suspected for some time now that you were pretty slick. Now you've proved it for me by your having a matching garage floor

As for testing the floor of your garage, I'd be happy to bring my scooter over there and do wheelies around your garage while holding a pinwheel and shouting .. "Weeeeeee, weee-weee, wheeeeeee!" :coolsmiley::1rotfl:

I'd be concerned too, enough so that I'd install bumper strips along the entire length of the three inside walls!

Use your toothbrushes duel purpose. It's more economical

Yep, rodie it does. Tim did our garage floor, looks just as clean and shiny...and we're gonna keep it that way by golly! I highly recommend Tim's work, he is prompt, polite and just an all around nice person who takes pride in his work and is reasonably priced...just like all the recommendations I've used from TOTV, thanks again guys:coolsmiley:

The floor looks great! We used the same company to do our Driveway & Lanai. We just love the job they did. I wanted to have them do the garage at the same time. However when we moved here we brought 4 huge closeets that used to be in our garage in N.Y. We had just filled them all up, when we decided to do the driveway. After the nightmare move we had, we just couldn't think of unloading the closets in the garage, so we could have the garage floor done also. Boy, am I sorry. The garage floor looks like it's 5 years old, instead of a new floor. I would absolutely recommend Artisi-crete. Enjoy your new floor. Trish:a040:

I don't want to start anything, but when we have your first party Angie, I am not helping you, Oren, Bill, Sandy, Karen, Carguy and Ruthie, Mike and Tris, Henry, Helene, and your pups and who knows who else up off the damn garage floor.

If you can't drink and walk on the garage floor, just sit with me on the lanai and enjoy the killer view. Panoramic view. Awesome view. Delightful view. Championship course view. View far from cart path. Perfect view. View for miles. No neighbors in site view. Best view in Villages.*

Another pop please.

*Well, best golf course view. Swimdawg has the awesome water view.

We already take our shoes off before walking through the house, but after having our garage done my husband says we have to take our shoes off in the driveway. He also says we will put a design in the driveway. Where will we park the cart and car? Can't park in the garage to get it in the driveway and cant park in the garage cause we can't drive the car on the driveway to get to the garage.....I think I'll hire a pilot to drop me into the pool to avoid walking on anything.:1rotfl::1rotfl:
