I keep hearing people mention they are watching "LIVE" TV on their iPad. All I can see is the ability to watch programs that have already aired. Is there a way to watch "LIVE" TV on an iPad?

If you have DirecTV, there is an app that allows you to watch selected live channels, like CNN. You aren't able to watch the big 3; ABC, NBC or CBS.

I believe Comcast also has an app for xfinity that allows live TV watching. There are several other apps, but they are all connected to a subscriber based service, like DirecTV, Comcast, Dish, etc...

On Demand is a different story and there are lots of apps that allow you to watch TV episodes, after they've aired.

Hope this helps....

iPAd is a perfect device for watching a netfix movie or TV series.

You can install from apps ABC. Not live but you can walk after the sows are aired. I also downloaded BrightHouse (my cable co) and can watch shows.

Another idea is to hook up a device called Slingbox. Slingbox will allow you to watch any show on your ipad that is being viewed on your TV at home. The only requirement is you need to be connected to a wify signal on the Ipad. You hook-up the Slingbox to your TV. You can go to slingbox.com and read about it.
