I don't know about Knight,...but I miss George Rudolph in the mornings,...I liked him. He's been gone a week or two. He always was joking around and picking on Rob Newton. :icon_wink:

Last time I was in TV and went to the square (don't remember which one), I didn't hear WVGL over the loudspeakers. Does the radio station still use broadcast speakers at both squares?

...in the streets surrounding the squares you'll hear WVLG playing over speakers....but not at the pavillions.

Which I enjoy listening to when I walked through LSL and SS. Hope that doesn't stop for my future visits to TV.

I remember DW and I sitting along the boardwalk outside of The Lighthouse and hearing WVLG. Hope those outdoor speakers are there. That was a memorable moment DW and I will long remember. I told her, "Honey, it don't get no better than this!" (excuse the Southern double negative):icon_wink:

I would love to hear what happened to George Rudolph.... here one minute, gone the next. I loved his show but always felt he pushed the Villages envelope as less than politically correct. have you noticed the hours changes for the other DJ's?

That's why I liked George, he was a little ornery, and funny! I'm sure he said some things that offended the overly sensistive and politically correct.:boom: I think he turned 65 and retired. I don't know if he's still around or not. Someone else on this thread heard that he was moving. I know he lived in Hawaii at one point in his career. He was a natural, a great DJ!

I could be wrong, but it sounds like you just incriminated yourself?
