Received a card in the mail today, telling me to call an 800 number to schedule a pick up of a package from Whitehouse, TX. Had tracking number looked quite official.

Called and talked to USPS Postal Inspectors and complaint complaint from. They think it is a scam and when you call the 800 number you will get a huge phone bill. If you get a green card from:

Package Services
PO Box 820
Whitehouse, TX 75791

Go online and let USPS Inspectors know that you also got one.

I have never ordered anything from this company, we have to be careful looks like a good way to get into our wallets through the phone company.

Do you know if this works from a Cell? I remember hearing they couldn't get you from a cell. Do you know?

Don't know, but I would not call from my cell just to be on the safe side. You might want to call your provider of cell service and see what they say.

Funny!! I got the same green postcard today. Looked like a scam with a package waiting for me with a tracking number. I threw it away cause I know that I didn't order anything. Will follow your advice and fish it out of the garbage and contact the USPS.

Be careful everyone.

Google the number. A page will probably come up with others telling about the scam. Let us know what you find.

BTW, do you know the difference between, sexual harrassment and phone sex?

I did the 411.com thing and all that comes up from the reverse number search is number can not be found. That was when I called the USPS Postal Inspector number and they told me to fill out the form so that they (USPS Inspectors) can start whatever it is they do.

Google it. You should get more options.

I received one of these a few weeks ago. I called seniors vs. crime. They knew about this scam and informed me what not to do.

Thanks for posting this as I will be the look-out for it.

I usually throw this type of mail away as I know I didn't order anything. If I get it, I will contact the postmaster and lodge a complaint.
