Is there a Car Wash In TV to visit frequently to wash off all the "love bugs"
that we've been hearing about?

The love bugs only happen for a month and this isn't the month. But you do have to wash off the construction dust. THIS is the dustiest place I have ever lived.

There is a one behind the Shell station on 466 near Publix and a nice one on 441/27 that cleans the inside too. There must be more...

The new car wash on 441 next to Lowes at $6 for an outside cleaning and free use of the self clean vacuums is a pretty good deal.

But their attendant vacuumed , windows and dash cleaned service is $16 but only $13 at The Village Car Wash in the Plaza Grande on 441.

However, if youre willing to drive a little outside the bubble, the Car Wash and Detail on 441 in Belleview next to Sonnys is hard to beat at $30. It includes both interior cleaning, wheel and tire cleaning, and Simonize hand waxing.

There's one in Spanish Springs and also Sam's has one at their gas station. Besides all the ones mentioned above!!

Two lanes at the one at Sam's Club. Left lane is soft touch - right lane is no touch. Either one is $6 for 'the works' - the only way you can get it there. No attendants - it's strictly an automatic car wash.

Well I didn't think this would be my first question on TOTV, but can you wash cars in your driveway or are there water restrictions?

Thanks Senior Citizen - I'm currently in RI and know all too well about the salt and sand issue :cold:. Can't wait to leave it all behind someday. I prefer to wash my car by hand and was curious if TV had restrictions. Sounds like they don't.

I go once a week to the car wash located in front of Winn Dixie on Hwy 441. They do an excellent job. I get the $12.99 which includes inside and out. Great people.

No restrictions. If fact, some people water their lawn with the hose because the hose uses potable water and it's much cheaper than irrigation water.

Hand wash only and it will be in my driveway.
Love Bugs- get them off right away or they will etch the paint.
I apply extra car wax in season and heard some that spray their cars front ends with WD40.
They are nasty.

The Village car wash in the plaza by Spanish Springs is very good.
