I saw a recent post asking if anyone had experience with WKB. Well, I have and its been a nightmare.

I had my lanai's summer kitchen done over and a large bar added. As part of this job, a new backsplash was installed. The installers had no direction or workorder from the sales person or owner so went ahead and enhanced the tile changing the color to a murky brown shade - the tile was originally a pretty tan color.

The Owner refuses to remove the tile even though the enhancer was applied without our approval - he told us to go elsewhere.

The owner doesn't have an ounce of professionalism and bullies his sales people in front of customers.

Maybe my experience is unique because I went with them after reading a few praises here but I couldn't recommend them even if they offered to do the job for nothing. I would stay clear of them - I understand from others that they have issues with their sales people not returning calls when something goes wrong.

Ordered some cabinets from them as they had the ones to match. Finally got them and had installed. Somewhat expensive and not easy to deal with. However work done was fine although quite simple so probably not a good indicator.

I should also add that I need to find someone to seal the granite and add a window sill - he is not honoring his contract now will he take our calls.

We have only marginal experience with them. I was looking for someone to do our master bath and got a quote from WKB. I sent them my design along with what I had been thinking about for materials. The quote was much higher than expected so I asked if they could work with me to bring the price down. Never heard from them again. I ended up using Duncan Stone and couldn't be happier with the results.

Does anyone happen to have the phone number for Crimes Against Seniors. I've looked though the Village phone book but not able to find.

Thanks

I asked because their sales person promised to provide a quote for the kitchen remodel and never did, even after three phone calls...instead he went on vacation. Could it be that these companies are so busy, customer care goes out the window?

As I wrote above, I had a terrible experience with these people. I would go elsewhere if I were you.

I had the same type of experience with the owner concerning the color of my countertop.
