So..... as long as we are asking questions.
I'm all about saving money and not spending money! From here it appears that the people in the area think we are all loaded and want to give our money up! I think I would like to hold on to mine for a little while longer!
So, my question to you is.....
Where do you get the best deals??? On EVERYTHING!!!!
Do you leave the campus? Where are your favorite stores to save money?
Who is your favorite person to hire that provides you GREAT service and doesn't think you are made of money!
How far do you drive out to get your deals?
Inquiring minds want to know! :$:

I find the best bargains at Beall's, and Beall's Outlet. On Monday with the Senior discount you can have a blast. At Beall's outlet they will hold things that are regular price for 3 days, so if you go on Friday and find what you want, they will hold it til Monday and you can get the discount. I go to all the Beall's and Beall's outlets in the area (5) and in Leesberg (2) if I am looking for something particular. They are good for housewares too. Also have found good "stuff" at Ross. Shopping is soooo much fun in TV and on Black Friday, all the stickers were at 70% off. Saved at least twice what I spent! I do my winter clothes shopping in the spring and my summer shopping in the fall from all the stickered racks. Enjoy!!!!!!

I'm a big fan of Kohls. May not necessarily be the least expensive, but if you can get a sale, which they run often, the prices is good and their products are of pretty good quality. They have nice home goods too.

Depends on what you're looking for.
There is consistently good price/ value/good selection of produce @ Marion Market.
Quality plants at a fair price- Richard Toth- building D South @ Marion Market
I tend to have good luck at TJMAXX -Rolling Acres Plaza for my own clothing and household items. I always start my search there. (Very clean store!)
Bass/Van Heusen is worth a peek periodically... and they offer 'member perks", like email coupons and points toward merchandise.
I do find that some of the same stores we typically had 'up North' are here, but have smaller departments and selection, like Michael's, JoAnn Fabric, Pier One, and Bed Bath and Beyond. (could be many factors for that.)
Places like Target, Walgreen's, Sam's and Walmart are the same as up North.
Prices are the same as well.
I am ordering more online lately, to get particular brands I have a hard time finding. But I'm finding good prices online, so I don't mind.

I will buy staples at Walmart and meat at Sams and fresh fruit and vegetables and fresh baked goods at Publix, (Not cheaper, but better) Lot of clothes and accessories for the home at Beall's outlet and Pier One and drapes at Penneys and artificial plants and cute little "stuff" at Dockside and Target and Kohls and Kirklands.
If you need general help call Handieman. He is cheap but not easy.
If you need furniture go to Jenifer at Southern Lifestyles, she knows how to find the best for the least. Also Bargains and Treasures. If you need Blinds call Rick who advertises on this site. I think we would buy a golf cart if buying new at the golf cart store at LSL but we got ours used from the owner.
