I saw The American Bandstand / Dick Clark show at Savannah Center. I understand all actors/singers were members of The Villages. Any of you guys on TOTV?
If I had one complaint..it was when the Dick Clark character sang the final song. In real life Dick Clark never did a thing in his life. He didn't dance, didn't sing and didn't play an instrument. Mr. Clark made millions of dollars in the music industry without having any musical talent.

Sounds like a serious issue.

Tom, Mr. MAC9 was in the show...he portrayed Fats Domino, sang a James Brown song, and is part of the Dorels ("5 guys and a girl " in the show). I thought that the rest of the cast did a great job too!

I enjoyed "BlueBerry Hill" and "I Feel Good" . My favorites were the rendition of "In The Still of The Night" and "True Colors"
It was a nice show.

We attended the American Bandstand Tribute and thought the entire show was outstanding. Great selection of music and well matched to the vocalist. I know that " Dick Clark" played a large part in the planning of the program and bravo to him for wanting to sing which is something he loves to do. Great show !

I know at least one of these actors/singers. Not aware though that she even knows about TOTV. Never talked with her about this website. She did have to work very hard on the rehearsals though for American Bandstand.

His talent was knowing how to keep people entertained.
