Yesterday around 12:45 a cart was coming out of El Santigo onto Morse near Hacienda Hills and got crushed by a car head on. We were just coming off #9 on the Palms and it was just a mass of ambulances rushing to the hospital with Medivac hovering overhead. Our wives told us the story and later we saw the road paint and damage to the road.
This is another trajic example of either 1) Negligence on somebody 2) lack of enforcement of the speed limits or 3) just being in to damn big of a hurry.
Folks don't need to get hurt or die form being in a rush.......

This time of year you have folks that are not in the same slow and easy state of mind that we FROG's are.

Have they ruled out all medical causes such as a heart attack or seizure etc?

There was a photo and brief caption/description in today's paper. BTW, this is the same accident MEMason reported .... don't want folks to think there were 2 incidents.
Paper said golf cart was traveling north on Morse, car was southbound. Cart attempted left turn onto Madero, car wasn't able to stop in time.
No indication whether car speed was a factor or whether golf cart operator made a bad judgement decision on when to turn. Golf cart operator airlifted to ORMC.
Let's be cautious and safe out there...
