Pools after market

Has anyone had a pool built after market and found problems? We thought it might be an avenue to explore but it seems T&D works so hand in hand with TV that it would be more seamless if they did it. Anyone have experience building after? How long did it take? Does it "match" the house? Problems? Cost?

More than and less than T & D...different quotes.

Would do all over again the same way.
