I know about Foremost and about Allstate.
Are there any other insurers covering golf carts?
Who covers yours, and are you happy with them?

I insured under my auto policy with USAA. I carry much larger limits than quoted in some of the posts here . Same as my auto+ $1,000,000

Dont know . Guess it depends somewhat on your medical coverage if hit by an uninsured person. Maybe someone who knows will share the facts

Would you drive your car without uninsured motorist coverage?
Yes, you should get it. Too many people in TV without proper cart and/or car insurance.
I just checked my coverage - got it and it costs about 40% of the total cart insurance (probably so high for a good reason).

I insured my golf cart with American Family locally. I have my car with them so they said I could insure the cart even if it is in another state.

Progressive has a web site that will give you a quote on-line.

Just checked with my homeowners and it's $56.00 per year for $300,000 liability
coverage. Would be $85.00 if you would want collision and theft. Liability would be to your homeowners and the collision, theft would be a separate policy.

All of the companies quoted in this thread will cover a golf cart for personal use very well. But if you are renting your house and include a golf cart none of the companies mentioned will cover your tenants. Allstate has been writing coverage for rentals but as of this year they are not writing that coverage anymore. People who currently have this coverage should check with their insurance company to see if they will continue writing for them.
