I am not one who thinks that this kind of information is DIRECTLY the result of the President, but knowing that some of our members were breaking their legs to run here and post when the economic news was different, I thought I would assist and post it for them.
"U.S. Unemployment Up in February"
U.S. Unemployment Up in February (http://www.gallup.com/poll/153161/Unemployment-February.aspx)
"The politicians in Washington D.C. just can't stop spending your money. In another "historic" event for the Obama administration, February 2012 will go on record as the largest February deficit ever according to the Congressional Budget Office."
Happy Leap Year! Governement Sets Another Record Deficit for February 2012 - Katie Pavlich (http://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavlich/2012/03/08/happy_february_governement_sets_another_record_def icit)
And don't start with the ....he is rooting for Obama to fail...stuff...NOT TRUE AT ALL...I am just tired of all the political crap in the WH...this guy is the single most political president that I can recall.

Gallup even admits that the numbers aren't seasonally adjusted.
It's pretty easy to find good news on that front:

Of course YOU would jump to the parties defense, but sure wish you could have read my sarcasm correctly :)

Read the attached link and feel free to comment.
February jobs report: Unemployment holds steady amid hiring - Mar. 9, 2012 (http://money.cnn.com/2012/03/09/news/economy/jobs_report_unemployment/index.htm?hpt=hp_t1)
Unemployment holds steady at 8.3. I know you are not like some of the others who are wishing failure on Pres. Obama but rather just someone who does not agree with most of the agenda his administration has put together.

With all the jobs "eliminated" from the equation because people stop looking for work, the numbers are all skewed anyway.
There are millions of less jobs now than when Obama took office, the population didn't decrease but expanded, and somehow the jobs numbers are improving??...................I've got a bridge to sell in Brooklyn, if you're interested.
Put all the real numbers together and we have about 15% unemployment.
The entire national media should be charged with malpractice.

RICHIE LION said this...
"The entire national media should be charged with malpractice."
And I want to add my amen to that....the media in this country at all levels is so bad right now. I mean, we even have posters who post verbatim from tweets they get, from websites with so much bias and they think they are actually discussing politics.
The media has a ring in our nose, collectively, and leads us around with it.

I prefer to hear the REAL unemployment number, not the cleaned up one that DOES not include the unemployed who gave up looking...it does not include those who are unemployed and no longer collecting unemployment.
Political definitions = suspect information, as usual.
And the assessment that there is a trigger that has some in defense mode no matter the subject or intent. See how many consistently go to the retro measure mode (usually Bush labeled in some manner) or just out and out totally and completely of the topic. Very, VERY consistent.

275,000 new jobs last month and more commentary on people re-entering the workforce.
This is why the debate has shifted away from the economy.

The unemployment figure suggest it is closer to 13%.
Inflation is up, gas is up, food prices are up. Interest on my money ostensibly zero. The value of a dollar down
In the meantime Obama recently had a $100,000 per plate soiree in North Carolina. Can you spell hypocrite
