I went to Dr. LeCorn - he has an office at the Buffalo Ridge Plaza, near Southern Trace Plaza. He was able to diagnose my problem. Very pleasant . Check out website:

I was her patient. She and her staff were great. Everyone was professional, efficient and personable. My dentist Kathleen Williams sent me to Dr Locher-Claus for a root canal. I was very pleased with my treatment...she was able to save the existing crown on the tooth. I highly recommend her

I was sent to Alex Ghazal, an oral surgeon, educated at University of Florida, for a root canal and he too saved my crown. I think he is highly skilled. I think he is probably the best dentist I have ever consulted. Wish he did general dentistry.

Right on, Graciegirl. I had a root canal by Dr Ghazal just yesterday. Did a wonderful, painless, job. My wife, a few years ago, had a root canal done by Dr Locher-Claus, and she was in serious pain for weeks, and, to this day, complains about continuing discomfort. The woman did jobs on two different teeth in order to find the one causing the problem. Stay away from her if you are smart.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. DeCorn.

How do you know that you need an endodontist? Pain in and of itself does not mean you need a root canal. There are other issues that can cause discomfort...decay, root exposure, cracked tooth, loose filling are some examples. First find a good dentist. He/she will diagnose the problem, then, if necessary, send you to the endo guy, or, some general dentists do root canal work in their office. I worked in a top notch dental practice for 16 years. As I said, find a great dentist first. It may save you a ton of money.

Dr. Williams is my dentist and she is wonderful! I went to Dr. Clause. She and the staff are great but a little expensive, but then I guess any specialist is.

I also highly recommend Dr. Ghazal. I foolishly had my dentist perform a root canal which he seriously botched. After months of discomfort I went to Dr. Ghazal and he performed a retreatment. He was a life savior. I now have another dentist that I am happy with, but I will return to Dr. Ghazal if I ever need another root canal.

Anoher vote for Dr. Ghazal. I was petrified - but my root canal through an exiting crown was truly painless! He and his staff are fabulous!!!!

Glad to see this :) Mom's ENT suggested Dr. Locher-Claus for her jaw issue after the MRI they're doing to rule out everything else. Glad to see good reviews for her.

Dr. Claus did a root canal recently and I believe her to be highly competent and professional. She is younger and has high tech equipment. She would work and then take radiographs to evaluate the nerve tissue.
