I just heard that HBO cancelled "Luck" because a 3rd horse died on the set. While I enjoyed the series, I certainly don't want to see another animal injured. On the news this morning, it said that Vets had full access and the horses were very well cared for. But one animal losing it's life during a movie production is rare, and nowadays 3 animals being hurt or killed is unheard of.

Saw that too. Have only watched the first show of Luck so far.
Too bad about the deaths of the horses.

Didn't like the show anyway, although I love horses. That kind of thing should not happen
