After 3 years of planning, visiting and wishing, we have contracted on our new house in the Village of Fernandina. We close in May and will be moving there the first week of June. Did we mention how excited we were? Suzanne wants to start practicing to dance in the Square, but with my dancing, I'd hate to give everyone a reason to run me out of town. Did I mention how excited we are? Gotta go pack.

Great News you are just months away from moving to TV's!! We just put our home on the market and had its first showing today so even though it may be wishful thinking it would sell that fast... We are hopeful we will be in your shoes in the near future! Congratulations!

Scott8147, Congratulations on your upcoming move to TV from a Chicago wannabee! Glad your planning and wishing is about to pay off. I will be back visiting in TV in June, so I will wave to you as you and your wife dance on the squares. And this fall you will have a new square, Brownwood, to dance in.

Thanks everyone. No sooner had we ordered our home on March 9 than we had an incredible piece of good luck. We listed our home in NC and had it sold in 3 days! My previous experiences had averaged 1-2 years. It turned out the biggest problem was holding the buyers off until our house was ready in Fernandina. Things have been going so well since we decided to move there that I'm kicking myself for not buying a ticket in the lottery!
