If you haven't already finished your survey, this is a chance to register a complaint against inconsiderate people saving chairs in the morning for events in the evenings at the squares. All it would take is a simple sign.

All it would take is a simple sign.I've already completed mine and did say something about the saving of chairs even though I've never been to an event where it would affect me. I did it to support all those that have made posts against the practice simply because I agree with them that something should be done! Never know about my attending in the future though!

I believe that you can continue to modify your survey until the cutoff date, some time in April. Then they collect whatever results are out there.

At 2 PM yesterday in Spanish Springs there were chairs being saved for Rocky & The Rollers. Not exactly a special event! I have put my complaint in the survey and will not patronize the restaurants and shops in the square until chair saving stops!

Wonder if we could print up some fliers and scotch tape them to the chairs saying that some of us think they aren't very nice to hog them.

I agree that the saving of chairs is not in concert with the theme of "America's Friendliest Home Town." I WILL make changes to my survey.

Wouldn't everyone please consider also objecting to the people who park their "for rent" or "for sale" golf carts in Spanish Springs between The Church on the Square and Margarita Republic. After all, these people are in business and directly competing with some of the businesses that are paying for the events in the square.

Yes, I am sure that the big bucks you spend is going to have an impact. LOL.

You are correct, the couple of hundred dollars we use to spend each month in the square is nothing to the Morse family. I do not expect people to follow my path, but if half of TOTV threaten (thru the survey) to stop patronizing the resturtants and shops, "chair saving" may stop. That is when "MONEY TALKS" IMHO if you do not object to "chair saving" in the survey you are aproving it!
