My NOAA weather radio has reliably alerted for the weekly test up to a few weeks ago. Has anyone else had this problem or is my radio need replacement?

Come to think of it, my radio hasn't been beeping either. Don't know why.

Mine worked today for the regular Wednesday noonish test. I'll let you know if it does the 6pm test tonight.

Mine tested today. It usually does on Wednesdays.
You know, I don't know that my radio ever makes a sound, but in the past, it did give a test with lights and captions, but no sounds. I'm not sure if it's done that for a while.

I have the weather alert radio, too. Mine had been unplugged and the channel somehow got switched to another county. I had to re-program it and now the yellow test light came on at 6 pm tonite. No, it does not make any beeping sound while in the test mode.
Mine is the Midland Model 100.

HELP NEEDED - Just purchased a Midland "Emergency Weather Alert Radio With Alarm Clock (WR-120) weather radio but don't have the codes to program it for The Villages (32162). Does anyone happen to know how to program this?

You can take it to the fire station and it will be set for you. You can have Sumter, Lake and Marion counties set if you like.
These are the codes: Sumter - 012119; Lake - 012069; Marion - 012083. Personally, I'd take it to the fire station and ask the firemen to set if for you. They're really great guys.

Yes, the fire station will do it for you if you don't trust yourself. However, if you get the codes set for Lake, Sumter, and Marion counties, you just may find it sounding a lot. I have mine set for Sumter county.

Is there an app for that? I would like the weather alert on my iPhone from wherever I happen to be (location)?
Weather Alert USA $9.99 is in the Apple App Store. Anyone have any expirience with ths app?
I have this app and really like it. I've got it set for a few places, Chicago, my sister's location in Massachusetts, my brother's place in Massachusetts and here. I've got it on my Ipad, too.
One thing to remember is if you keep your phone on at night, it will sound notices and might wake you. You can set it to just display and not sound.
I like having a weather alert device when I travel....you just set it for the area you're in. Was definitely worth the $$ as far as I'm concerned.
