Hi - just purchased a new courtyard villa and noticed the garage and lanai did not have blown-in insulation. Can anyone recommend a good contractor to have these areas blown - also looking into insulating the garage door. THANKS!

I keep trying to find out the name of a company as well. I now understand that
R34 would be the better choice for insulation rather than radiant barrier and then compliment it with solar fans but WHO does the insulation work?

Noooooooo, old school thinking.
R34 is good you still benefit from radiant,
Go to the Seico web site. Read call Abshier Insulation and have him demo.
As I sit here next to my neighbor, same heat load AC set the same. His AC is running constant mine is off and only once in a while cycles on.
I asked my builder to install it. He said I would love to. I said why not. He said
" The Villages" . Then he said but in my new home it's solid foam insulation and radiant.
I installed it and will never look back. Three years it will pay for itself.

I have just finished with a company called Gale Insulation, from Ocala. Very professional. They showed up on time and did a good job. They had me sign a work order and then blew insulation in my lenai. Prices are right too.

Certing,
Can you please explain why you had the lanai insulated isn't it an open area?
Another point
I guess you don't need it on the north facing roof-no direct sun?
