I've read the Forum How-To's, the forum directions, & the Do Not Post anything thread and I cannot find an entry telling how to enter a link to a website into a posting.
I'm talking about something like "Funny Article" (in blue?) instead of www.http//xxxxxxxxx.xxx.
Can anyone direct me to the correct part of the forum?
Thanks for any help with this.

Check this out - it should provide you the answer you're looking for:
Talk of The Villages - BB Code List (https://www.talkofthevillages.com/forums/misc.php?do=bbcode)
Then scroll down to "URL Hyperlinking".

Hi TV-4-2,
Welcome to the forum. It's not hard to post a link. Here's how.
In the window that opens for you to type a post, there are various buttons above the window you type in and below the window where you could add a title. On this forum, the 11th button from the left on the second row is used to insert a link. The button looks like a globe of earth with a paperclip underneath.
All you have to do is click the link button and type into the window it opens the web address you want to link.
A better option, to make sure you don't type the web address incorrectly, is to open the web page you want to link in another tab; copy the web address and paste it into the link button's dialogue box.
Let me know if this helped.

Yep, this looks like the way I'd like to do it. I will try it soon.
Thank you very much for taking the time to explain it in detail (I need it! ;))
