I have to at least give this a try --

About a month ago, I lost a book when it fell off the seat of my golf cart and out of the cart. I didn't realize it was missing until I had reached my destination; by the time I was able to retrace my path, it was nowhere to be found. It was a spiral-bound paperback cookbook called "In the Beginning". I was especially sad to lose it because it had been a gift from a good friend, probably about 25 years ago. Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone on here happened to be the person who found it...

Thanks.

I hope someone has found your book and it will be returned to you.

In the event that it does not show up, I checked on E-bay and found three auctions for this book. Hope this helps as an alternate means of replacing it.

The main lost and found for The Villages is at La Hacienda Regional Recreation Center near Spanish Springs. Maybe someone turned it in to them.

I'm sorry but the rude responses some people give lately are depressing.
Diskman, it is obvious to me that the OP is NEW and may need guidance. You took the time to belittle the OP when a few words explaining the procedure would have been helpful. Icons depicking someone vomiting is a little too dramatic. :spoken:

crwrkw, welcome, when you have something to say or ask and it is not on the topic being discussed, you can start a new thread. As to your question I don't know the answer but I'm sure someone will respond.

I believe that very recently, prior to his posting on this thread, crwrkw did ask that question on a "separate thread" on 4/1/ and did not receive any responses. Perhaps he was looking for someone to send him a link too . . . .

He may be new, but he did post the same question to this thread AFTER he did not receive any responses to this original post. I am not sure if it is impatience or hi-jacking.
But I agree, it does not belong here.
