Thinking of buying a resale in TV. Does the 10 year warranty pass on to a new owner?

good question. I expect so but don't know for sure.
I'd ask a TV sales rep.

 That is a good question? I just bought and I think the sales rep said it is but don't take my word for it.

IMHO, it would make sense to call the warranty office.

And if you do call them, Mistamick, would you please let us know what they said? Thanks!

Sure would be a plus if it does transfer for a resale.

Since I first joined TOTV late in 2010, I've read a number of times about people needing a home inspection near the end of their first year in a new home because the warantee is ending. Now I'm hearing 10 years for the first time. What's up with that?

I'm with you. What 10 yr warranty? For the shingles?

I'm with you. What 10 yr warranty? For the shingles?OMG! If I bought a new house and got the shingles when buying it, I wouldn't want a warantee that I'd keep them for 10 years! :22yikes:
