For those mechanical-minded types who mess around with spray cans of brake parts cleaner:

A friend of mine handed me a printed article over the weekend regarding one poor fellow's experience with using brake parts cleaner. Granted, it's a bit of an unusual circumstance that caused the problem but I was completely shocked to read of the outcome.

Here's a link to the article: Brake Cleaner = Phosgene Article (http://www.brewracingframes.com/id75.htm)

To avoid what he encountered, make sure what you're using is labeled "Non-Chlorinated".

That's a VERY good thing to know.
I have (luckily) not used it with heat, but I'll sure read the warnings closely now, on this and other products.
Thanks!!! :ho:
