For those baseball fans interested in the Ozzie Guillen fiasco--I googled his name today and went to Wikepedia.com only to find out that they quote him as having been fired in April 2012 for his comments as relate to Fidel Castro.
Can't imagine how they have this info posted on his bio at this early stage of the controversy. Very interesting.

My guess is he'll remain in Miami after the dust settles.

Things like this follow Ozzie around. He was good for some amusing sound clips during intrrviews while in Chicago. It brokie up the usual dismal White Sox seasons.

I could possibly understand Wikepedia articles changing from one hour to another but to quote that he has already been fired from the Marlins before it has actually taken place really puzzles me??

Not seeing anything about his firing. There is a line about his being suspended for 5 games for his comments made about Fidel Castro. That's according to ESPN. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ozzie_Guill%C3%A9n

Link to ESPN article about 5 game suspension-- http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/7795152/ozzie-guillen-miami-marlins-suspended-five-games

This is typical Ozzie. He is not long for the Marlins.

Ozzie keeps it interesting, but he constantly puts his mouth in motion before his brain gets in gear. This is about the fiftieth time he's been in trouble with MLB due to his big mouth. It's hard to imagine anything dumber than saying "I love Fidel" when you are the manager of the Miami Marlins. He said something similar about Hugo Chavez not too long ago. This may have been his last stand - he has 2.5 strikes against him now.
