In light of the new platform of the dems that stay at home moms/women are somehow less than those dems/women that work and the fact that Hilary Rosen would probably not be available for questions I will ask the Left leaning/working women on here, or previously working women.
Tell me in what way working women are better than stay at home moms and why?
And do you believe that this is a war on women like the health care war on women?

notlongnow...hope you dont mind me posting this here on your thread but did not want to start another thread, BUT this entire thing is annoying and validates my thoughts on this WH and Dem party....
In May of 2008 the President, then striving for the nominations said this..
"Sen. Barack Obama ripped into a Republican ad today that targets comments made by his wife, Michelle, and called the GOP tactic "low class" and "detestable."
The Illinois senator told "Good Morning America" that he expects hardball tactics from the Republicans if he becomes the Democratic presidential nominee.
"But I also think these folks should lay off my wife," he told "GMA" as his wife chuckled beside him."
Obama Warns GOP "Lay Off My Wife" - ABC News (http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/Vote2008/story?id=4881883&page=1#.T4cihNUf68C)
Today, after one of his top advisors made a comment about Romney's wife...he says this...
"(CNSNews.com) - Speaking Friday at what the administration called “The White House Forum on Women and the Economy,” President Barack Obama said that after his two daughters were born, he and his wife—both Harvard Law School graduates—could not afford the “luxury” of having her stay home with the children.
In 2005, when Obama began serving in the U.S. Senate (and his daughters turned 4 and 7), he and his wife were earning a combined annual income of $479,062. Barack Obama was paid a salary of $162,100 by the U.S. taxpayers, and Michelle Obama was paid $316,962 to handle community affairs for the University of Chicago Medical Center."

The War on Women in general is a political strawman invented by Obama to deflect voters viewing his disappointing first term. There is no War on Women and you have to have a low opinion of women to believe they would accept "victim status" and need anyone to speak up for them. Geezzzz

Can't argue with that!
Just wanted to know what the women that think they are under attack think about it.

Sounds like when Democrats say the stupidest things to me. Not much to this except some whag putting his/her foot in mouth and then trying to hum a few bars.

There is a lot to this. The Dems now have a webpage just to sign up to "enlist in the war on women"....they are not done attacking Mrs Romney...trust me..each time the WH will distance themselves but it is A LOT to this.
I think there is lot to the statment by the President frankly...he is continuing the class warfare and it will get even more nasty. And I willl predict if someone punches back you will hear about race and how it is different with black couples..this is what this man does and what he has done his entire career

the advantage Obama had in 2008 nobody knew who he was and people believed what he said.
The disadvantage Obama has in 2012 is the people now know full well who he is and his past 4 years are against him.
As a result he will play the dirtiest of the dirty political trickery....and of course he will continue, as he has for the last 4 years.....to tell stories that sound good. Here again the last 4 years work against him.

I cannot believe how he, hmmm deceives when he speaks of this Buffet rule.
At least on a few occassions when I heard him...he never once mentioned that it is only on those who accumulate their money from investments. The rich CEO bonus and salary...the rich professional sports athlete..the rich actors and actresses....IT DOES NOT APPLY TO THEIR SALARY.
Second, he NEVER MENTIONS the fact that these folks will simply move their investments somewhere else....DOES THAT SOUND LIKE A GOOD IDEA. Heard a few analysts say that if this passed in 2012 the market would be a disaster place at the end of the year.
He never mentions that the movement will be AWAY from and OUT OF municipal bonds, state bonds, etc. Does that sound like a good plan now ?
And lastly, he know full well even as he talks it has no chance of ever passing and it is only a ruse to him to appeal for votes.
He is getting worse than he ever was, and I, for a minute, do not believe the attack on Romneys wife was planned but I am still in shock at how he personally reacted to it.

While raising adopted twins with her lesbian lover, Rosen will one day WISH she had a neighbor like Ann Romney next door...on whom she can dump her kids while she's staying late at the studio for another interview or meeting with the DNC to strategize on how to make conservative women look lazy, stupid and worthless to society.
