Day Trader Broker

Has anyone had good luck with finding a day trader type of broker. I have in mine a firm such as Scott Traders who charge only $7 for a stock sell or purchase.

Making sure I understand your question correctly: Are you looking for a personal broker to help you with day trading or are you just looking for a firm that's a good one to use for making day trading decisions/executions on your own?

Schwab has the best execution speed and web site for day trading at $7.95 a transaction. Vanguard is the lowest price at $2 a trade with the first 25 trades free.

The best platform for active traders is think or swim, which was purchased recently by tdameritrade. I trade stock options primarily. If you're into developing your own indicators, or program an auto trader, then tradestation is ideal.
If you're just a casual trader, most other platforms are OK - I like optionsexpress for ease of use on options and option spreads.
