Could someone give me some ideas of venues in the villages for a wedding reception?

I do not know, but when I get there, I can actually perform marriage and commitment ceremonies and I will do the same in The Villages as I do in Seattle, small intimate weddings in our yard for up to 12 people, and I can cater it as well! Stay tuned. In TV, we have a great view so it will be VERY romantic for a small ceremony and gathering!

There have been receptions at the Savannah Center and at the polo fields if you like outdoor settings. I am sure there are more...

Colony Rec Center has had several wedding receptions. Think you can make an appointment to see what rec centers are available for you date and then choose which center fits your tastes and needs. Not sure what the rules on catering are -- Villages Catering only or catering of your choice.

Cattle Baron Club has room for a large party and plan it when good entertaining band is playing. We were there one night when Cactus Jack's band introduced a wedding party. They were having a good time and lots of diners and dancers there to wish them well.
