I am about fed up with the media and anybody else who insults Americans intelligence with such a ridiculous premise ....that being Romney is "out of touch" because of his wealth. And the cars he has and the houses he has and the nannies and the maids and on and on and ON!!!

I would like for any....ANY supporters of this fantasy smoke job to explain to me why they think for one single minute it could or would be a problem for Romney.......if it was never a problem for ANY or the Kennedys????
Who could buy and sell Romney.

Jack Kennedy in the WH...Bobby POTUS potential? Teddy Lifetime senator and once POTUS potential heralded as the champion of the little guys....the working class...blue collar America.

I may not be able to sleep being so excited in anticipation of the answers.

btk

PS think Jack Kenedy when you watch Diane Sawyer try to help peddal the smoke:

RIGHT ON POST BTK.....

This WH is becoming so hate ridden. They bring up race...today Obama said that Romney was a racist because he supported the Arizona immigration bill...early for that card.

And the class card is always out there....the hypocrisy of this man is just incredible, and frankly despite his hope and change thing, he is not only tearing this country apart but also the Democratic party. I dont mean these card carrying...I dont care about america, only my party....will vote for him but he is tearing it apart.

Today, Frank said he advised him to spend his time on the job crisis but Obama insisted on the health care bill....because it was the best political thing for him to do and we all knew, but the fact that a loyalist like Frank even admitted this is startling.

He is nothing but race and class and his attacks know no bounds.

Thanks for posting this BTK....cannot wait to hear how Kennedy related, and with no conscience they will find a way to show how he did

PS....just to be honest, Obama actually said that Romney supports racial profiling...he just says stuff because he believes it then its true.

Downright amazing that some posters who postulate about Democrats being haters and name callers resort to that themselves at the drop of a hat.

Hypocrisy is the word of the day. Take it and run for the goalpost. chilout

Have a good evening. It is time for the watering hole.

Excellent point. I have discussed this with liberals on another forum. The only conclusion I could come to with some of their responses was that they were drunk. Billy, your post is the best rebuttal I've read or heard. Excellent my friend.

The libs are just spinning and grasping for straws with anything they can't pull out of thin air.... or other places. It will get worse, just watch. It will be fun to watch their task master go down in a crushing one term defeat to the "rich white guy." Icing on the cake will be them loosing the Senate to boot.

When our new president turns the economy around they'll say it was all due to Obama's marvelous magic the previous 4 years.

Just remember it does not matter who you vote for, all that matters is WHO COUNTS THE VOTES. Obama will get a second term.

There is a weak point in Romney from the liberal Obama followers perspective and while I can venture a guess, I won't.

Wiil Rogers once said "It ain't bragging if you done it." Romney for whatever reason(s) is not a braggart. Romney has accomplished much in his lifetime. He has reared a wonderful family. He is a businessman. He is not showy. He is not inclined to hubris. He is humble by nature or faith, perhaps both. He is intelligent. He has the political experience necessary to run this country. He suffers his personal maladies and those of his family in silence. He understands the needs of America and Americans because he understands how truly free markets enrich us all. What you see is what you get and its all positive

In short all of his accomplishments have been produtive, positive in the long run to his benefit and that of America He embodies all that America is and has been. Through his church he has done much in charitable giving and works.

Any open minded individual choosing the two candidates vying for the presidency truly have an easy choice and that is Romney.

So, now the wuber-conservatives are saying if (or when) their candidate loses and Pres. Obama is re-elected, that the reason is the ballot count was fraudelent?

The conspiracy continues, doesn't it?

I got an idea Fig if you can't trust the electoral system let them settle it with a gun fight! That will determine the best man all the time.

Romney Says He Isn't Too Rich to Relate While Obama Should Pack (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/g/a/2012/04/16/bloomberg_articlesM2KUVK1A74E901-M2LME.DTL)

Hopefully, will we get a very good glimpse of candidate Mitt Romney's platform in the various debates he will have with President Barack Obama in the Fall.

With respect to Romney's wealth when compared with the Kennedy clan;the Kennedy's were champions of the working and middle class as far as I could tell. Extremely liberal in outlook. What many Republicans on this TOTV board would label as "socialist". I do not get that impression from Mitt Romney that he is fighting for the rights of the working and middle classes.

It won't even be close. The multitudes that are riding the Obama gravy train have grown fat and happy. They won't bother to get out the vote this time around. Mr. Romney will prevail and America will be truly prosperous once again.

Just do not get how Romney can turn around this economy? How does he plan to handle the enormous debt we have?

From what I have read his tax proposals would actually increase the debt-- http://blogs.ajc.com/jay-bookman-blog/2012/03/02/romney-tax-plan-soaring-debt-huge-breaks-for-rich/

Hi buggyone: I suspect you have a counterpoint . However, I believe you just made a sound argument as to why photo ID cards are imperative.

If you recall the Dems demanded a recount via the Bush/ Gore election results. The uberliberal Hollywood types even made a movie called "Recount.

Anyway, given the demand of recount from the Bush election and following the allegation of fraud and intimidation (Black Panthers, ACORN) resulting from the Obama campaign it would behoove us all to keep a tight check on just who is voting and whom operates our election process. I would venture a guess that some are so against photo ID cards that they would settle for letting people stink their thumbs in ink (shades of the Muslim world)

I opine you decide. looking forward to your counterpoint.

Now I need to go hit a bucket of balls to figure my way out of this recent snap hook. Geeezzzz.

From what I have read his tax proposals would actually increase the debt-- Romney tax plan: Soaring debt, huge breaks for rich | Jay Bookman (http://blogs.ajc.com/jay-bookman-blog/2012/03/02/romney-tax-plan-soaring-debt-huge-breaks-for-rich/)

Here is his plan. If the Houses of Congress agree, maybe it will happen.

and the simplest plan of all...one that results in a balanced budget.
Or to be ahead of Obama's views on the budget, which as we all know is NO BUDGET SINCE TAKING OFFICE, is to simply have a budget.

You know that people who do not want to be measured shy away from ANY means to do so, hence no budget since Obama took office.

How would you like to be able to run your household that way. No budget. Spend what ever you want. As much as you want. And when your check book approaches zero (you must wait until the night before) then just add a whole bunch of numbers you like into your check book and keep on spending. That is what the current administration is doing.

Rubicon,
I have no problem with voters having to present a photo ID to vote. As long as any photo ID would work and not a special "voter ID", I have no problem.

As for your recent hooking of the ball, try standing a bit closer to the ball and keep an even swing plane. Too often a hook is caused by the swing plane coming from the outside.

Thank you Rubicon. What a nice, clean post to read. No media-slanted links. Just a a clear indication of opinion, without shots at anyone else who posts. A pleasure to read.
