I went thru all the regulars pods, mayflower and regular moving companies.
Wow they were higher than expected.
My son offered to drive a truck there but when that time comes we'll need some local guys (2-3) to do the lifting moving.
Any ideas where to find "a few good men" :undecided:

Jim, many of your questions have been asked many times before on this forum and I do understand because we have ALL been there prior to moving here. I'm just wondering if you have tried to use the Search feature on this site? For instance, I did one for local moving companies and found this link... I know there are others because my memory says there are but I don't, right now, have time to search for them. Here's the immediate link I found... BTW I have used these people and they are good.

For local moves, I was extremely impressed with Tri-County Movers. I called them on a Friday night to move a washer/dryer on a Saturday morning. They were there on time and moved it quickly and carefully for a reasonable price. I was very pleased with their service and professionalism.

They were GREAT for us. Quick, very careful and relatively inexpensive. They advertise on TOTV.

I called the local movers and they wouldn't come to Ohio. The ones affiliated with national chains had their local affiliate call me. Two Men and a Truck will provide you with muscle to load and unload. If you want full service google Don Farr Movers of Pittsburgh. And :welcome:
