Lots of people say I look for stuff on Obama...I don't....I visit my "haunts" to read and try, that is a large word..TRY....to stay current. Just read this on a visit and wanted to share. I am told not to sweat it...dont worry about..dont get your shorts in a wad or something like that, YET people just ignore and come on here actually defend what this President is doing to MY country.
Now, it appears perhaps...maybe...some cracks developing...
"The notoriously thin-skinned Obama could not have been happy with the news last week that, as the Hill newspaper put it, "an increasing number of Democrats are taking potshots at President Obama's health care law."
"North Carolina's Brad Miller, who voted for the law, now laments that "we would all have been better off" if Congress had dealt with more pressing issues "and then came back to health care."
Barney Frank complained that the Democrats "paid a terrible price for health care." And Virginia's outgoing Sen. Jim Webb said the law would be Obama's "biggest downside" in the election and had cost him "a lot of credibility as a leader."
Meanwhile, stalwart Massachusetts liberal Elizabeth Warren is now calling to repeal a piece of ObamaCare — the 2.3% tax on medical devices — because, she says, it "disproportionately impacts the small companies with the narrowest financial margins."
Warren, by the way, is running for the Senate seat occupied by Republican Scott Brown, whose victory in 2010 was a result of the public's intense opposition to ObamaCare.
Former Alabama Rep. Artur Davis went furthest. "I think the Affordable Care Act is the single least popular piece of major domestic legislation in the last 70 years," he said. "It was not popular when it passed; it's less popular now." Ouch."
Democrats Increasingly Abandon Obama on Health Care And Keystone - Investors.com (http://news.investors.com/article/608706/201204201854/democrats-increasingly-abandon-obama-webhed-are-democrats-fleeing-sinking-obama-ship-.htm)
You folks can make fun of me all you want as I have just kept on about this health care bill.....he duped us all....totally...hopefully this means that folks are waking up. He wasted so much time for HIMSELF..not the country because he didnt even end up with anything that addressed what HE SAID was the goal
He has been less than upfront with us on LOTS and this is in the top 5 for sure.

Bucco, Obama has built a house of cards.

Smart Democrats in craving their own reelection are recognizing the "ship be sinking" and are abandoning it; or rather are trying to distance themselves from Obama policies that are against the people's will and wants.
Obama's biggest mistakes; ObamaCare, Keystone Pipeline, adding 5 Trillion+ Dollars to the debt in 3 years.
Who the heck wants to run on that?

Republicans biggest mistakes: Palin, Bachmann, O'Donnell, Angle, Gingrich, Paul, Perry, and of course Junior Bush.
Who would vote Republican after those disasters? It would be like a cruise line naming their newest ship Titanic.

Like those names tossed out there are going to magically funnel voters to Obama.
It's a strange idea.

I agree, but we do have Romney. He will go back to the center and run from all those names and their supporters. At least he needs to if there is any hope of being elected over Obama.

And how are those on the right who voted for Romney in the primaries going to like his going back to the center?

No conservative is seeing Romney as a true conservative, so I don't think they'll be any disappointment.
We'll all vote for Romney anyway. At least he's not a commie.

Why do you say that. My post tells you all you need to know why Republicans are going to flock to the polls to vote for Romney.
You can remain clueless. I'm hoping you're representative of your party compatriots.

Totally combined the above-stated eight Republicans could not do as much damage to this country as Obma has in the last 3 1/2 years. The Commander InChief lauded for his handling of bin Laden stopped the military from blowing up the drone that went down in Iran. Now Iran is decoding our stealth/drone technology...and by the way bin laden was better alive than dead from an intelligence prospective. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

I'm rather shocked that you would be so quick to jump on the bandwagon of a guy who not that long ago was pro-choice, pro-gay rights, pro-gun control and pro-individual mandate for universal health care. In other words, he ran to the left of Teddy Kennedy.
Here's some great reading on Mitt's mendacity.

Just a friendly suggestion. Please read something other that what is supplied to you from the left. Sometimes when you make these comments so out of context, it so clear. Do you read about your hero and how he has changed JUST IN THE LAST TWO YEARS....would you like examples.
People change opinions....they all do...what you are saying is right out of a textbook media blitz (I used to do that stuff). If you change your stand on something straight forward, that is fine.....it is when you lie about your stance obviously that is bad and there is a huge difference.
This election will be won or lost on the debates in my opinion. Or some "event" happening between now and November. It WILL NOT be won with stuff like this. UNLESS there is more attention to the hate ads that I expect.
I did this stuff (for the Democrats by the way for a long time),,,it is easy for me to be able to spot what comes from where.
I surely am not correct always, but think in politics...50-60 % is a good rate. BUT you need to read both sides when you read politics or you walk right into things that you dont want to face and get embarrassed.
I have posted things on here an a few hours later found myself embarrassed...in most cases I will make a apology on here but you have to read both sides if you SERIOUSLY want to talk politics. If, as some on here do and want to do, all you want to do is flame then dont bother and I am sorry I typed so long.
If you dont mind me making my point. As you know, I oppose this President quite strongly, NOT because he is a democrat by the way....but to insure my fears and concerns were justifies, I read BOTH of his autobiographies, have spent hours combing as much as I can get available of the Chicago newspaper archives, and have read 1 1/2 of books dedicated to him by supporters. Those book were AFTER I made my decision but again,my point is read both sides.
Romney has changed his position but so has Obama and on some serious issues like fighting terrorism, trials of terrorist and the recent Panama treaty. Very open changes in opinions...it happens and it will not bring down Romney if that is your hope

Bucco answered you very well, but I just want to say one thing.
It's the only bandwagon I've got.
It's either a center-left, or a socialist/communist.
"Romney; at least he's not a commie"
(please just accept that I and all conservatives will do whatever we can to ensure the defeat of Obama; even vote for Romney)

I mentioned the debates and just was smiling.
Should Paul Ryan get the nod as VP candidate...then he would debate Joe Biden...if that does not bring a smile to your face. That would be a "big %^&*()! deal" that debate :)

Politicians change their positions on some issues, but what Romney has done is change his whole ideology. It would be like Bill Clinton and President Obama deciding one day that they are conservatives, or George W Bush coming out as a flaming liberal.

That is your opinion WITH ABSOLUTE NO CREDIBILITY but sure we will be hearing more about that, the dogs, the wife etc. But that is fine...I was just trying to put it into perspective.
I assume that YOU, not a democratic operative have researched the archives in Mass, etc and done your due diligence on the subject, and if that is how you feel after all that...fine. BUT if you took the word of someone like Maddow, you are usurping your brain and allowing yourself to be led
Promise not to mention it again

For JANMCN.....Just an example of what our conversation was about earlier.
This from Oct of 2011.......ad special attention to the 2nd sentence.
"the Barack Obama of 2011 and the Barack Obama of 2008 don't always see eye to eye.
Typically the presidential vision has overruled the candidate's. (Extending the Bush tax cuts, supporting indefinite detention without trial and engaging in open-ended war in Afghanistan are a few examples.)
But in the case of the complete withdrawal of American troops from Iraq by the end of this year, candidate Obama prevailed over the president.
President Obama wanted to stay longer -- as recently as a few weeks ago asking the Iraqi government to allow 10,000, then 3,000 troops to remain past New Year's Eve.
But the president ultimately had no choice but to stick to candidate Obama's plan -- thanks, of all things, to an agreement signed by George W. Bush."
