"Reported in the Daily Sun today. Neighborhood watch contacted Sumter County Sheriff that a nude person was knocking tables into the pool at the Summerhill pool. When deputies arrived furniture was knocked over and the subject was lying in a lounge chair. The 42 year old Villages resident was arrested for public nudity and disorderly intoxication and was taken to the detention center in Bushnell."
We need to provide more activities for our young people to keep them out of trouble.

Could he not have just taken a trip to the nearby nudist colony? Think there is one fairly close to the Villages-- Paradise Lakes Resort in Lutz.

That must have been one very unhappy Drunk or Drugged Guy.
Or very confident in his own skin. :MOJE_whot:
I'd go for the loose fitting tent coverage look.

On a somewhat related subject, I sometimes wonder if you have to pass a certain test to go to one of these nudist colonies. I looked at the site for the Lutz Paradise Lake nudist colony and almost all of the people shown there look like they could come out of modeling schools.
Maybe, this man did not make the cut?

I just read the article. It gave his name (an unusual one) and he obviously lives with his parents. I can only imagine how embarassed they are.

Since the article identified this man as a Villages resident, I looked up the name in the phone book (to see if he was way too close to my home) and came up with one family with the same last name as his. Obviously, a grown child living with parents. Wow, I bet they are proud their son got his name in The Daily Sun!
No, Blazen, 20% of the homes are available to those under 55 - but there cannot be children under 19 living in The Villages for over 30 days a year.

Yes, I'd be quite confident it was the son of village residents. Living with them, probably with mental health issues and/or drug & alcohol problems. Sometimes the kids and their problems never allow parents their due retirement rest and relaxation. :(

I'd guess his parents would have to be embarrassed with him-bare-assed :)

Just curious, who keeps track of the 20% level?

Not all of us living with our parents are nuts, drunks, or addicts. That is true about the parents not really getting their due retirement though.

If that's the situation, then the matter won't be heard in criminal court...perhaps headed for small claims court instead?

Yup, you never know. At least they caught him and he'll be dealt with by the proper authorities. If he needs some kind of help he may get it.

Yes I read that, but why was he drunk? Underlying reasons, perhaps mixed with meds he is taking....there is always more to a story...I still feel for the parents, they probably wish he was on his own...

Well just another example of the Police Blotter problems the rest of The Villages must deal with while they live among us. Thanks parents, just bring them in. Don't worry about the rest of your neighbors and how they feel about it.
It makes one really wonder what is going on with the Travis Rosan type criminals that live with Mommy.

Who is Travis Rosan?
While I was looking at posts on TOTV, a 30ish woman walked by whom I know from my mother's volunteering. This woman has the intellectual maturity of maybe an eight year old kid. She is a lot more emotionally mature due to the guidance of her parents wom she lives with her in the Villages. She also has a job with one of the Villages' retailers.

He could have had a guest pass...besides you do not have to be 55+ to live here, just over 18...... In addition, they don't talk about the nude parties the
55+ have... if they did, they would have a hard time selling in TV....

He may be a friend of someone from Doggie Doo Run Run I know. She lives near the Summerhill pool. Not sure though if this is the same "young man" who sometimes helps her out. She's in her mid-80s so a 42 year old would be a "young man" to her.
