Even in tough times, contemporary art sells - 60 Minutes - CBS News (http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=7403948n)
Anyone else see the 60 Minutes segment about contemporary art a few weeks ago?
Some of the art was very intriguing. Much else of it though made me want to question the mental health of both the buyer of the art as well as the artist. Or, at least, the buyer of the art.
Doubt if even Robert Hughes could make much sense of some of this "art". He is the author of Shock of the New. http://www.guardian.co.uk/artanddesign/2004/jun/30/art1
