View Full Version : Most Unpopular Gov't in 15 Years!!

According to a story in the left-leaning Politico, The Federal Gov't of Barack Obama is the most unpopular federal government in 15 years.

Oh my goodness; does that mean that right now the government was thought more highly of, under George W. Bush? (wow!, what a revelation)

I have a confession to make also. I read this story about this Pew Poll indicating that our present version of a federal government was so unpopular, and I smiled :)

Richie,
The poll was not about the Obama Administration. It was about Federal Government which means the executive, judicial, and legislative branches put together. If you have read articles, you will see that Congress is rated about at a 11% approval which is due to the inactions of Congress.

I'll interpret the article my way. I don't see your silver lining. This isn't good for Obama any way you slice it. It's definitely indicative.

That's my word for today :)

You're being generous. Congress actually has an 8% approval rate.

You have to wonder about that 8% of the people who were polled, don't you?

Once again it is on Obama's watch and the system he USES and ABUSES along with his position is called the US Government.

He is not only a part of it he SITS at the top of the pile.

There is no individual rationalizing.

Please explain this post...it makes no sense whatsoever !!!

The thread was about the approval of congress being as low as 8% ! What does your comment mean or add to that conversation ?

Don't the dishonest lefties crack you up? They all keep pointing to some old polls and numbers to dismiss President Bush's record, but discount the same sort of thing when it might indicate unpopularity of "The One".

Sometimes this is just so easy.

Pretty easy to understand, that means that 8% of X amount of people called on the poll think that the government is doing a bang up job. If they called 100 people, then 8 think the government is doing great. The scary part of this is that they vote and breed.

Obviously, this unpopular government poll does not translate into votes.

Obama leads Willard among almost every voting group. The President is on target to win reelection with approx. 305-315 electoral votes.

Now, if this poll was entitled the most unpopular President in 15 years, you might have something.

But, it isn't and you don't.

I think you will find that Willard will easily beat Hussein.

Can't find anything on it. But if the odious Bill Mahr can contribute a million to Obama and have no liberal find fault with it, I guess Mel Gibson contributing money would be fine also.

But again, there's nothing I can find, except for your speculation.

No, don't get me wrong. I find nothing wrong with a religious bigot like Mel Gibson contributing money to the Republican party. Definitely within his rights to do what he wants with his money. I just was wondering if anyone else had heard of it.

Cannot find anything about Mel Gibson donating any money to any politicians, ever.

Does not look like he believes in the political system at all, so I would be very surprized if he had actually donated any money.

This site tracks campaign donations. It does seem out-of-date though. Probably would not get very recent donations. Campaign Finance - Money, Political Finance, Campaign Contributions (http://www.campaignmoney.com/)

Isn't Bill Maher allowed to donate money to whomever he pleases? By the way, he is a great comedian. Be sure to catch all of his shows on HBO. They are even available ON DEMAND in case you missed them the first time around.

If Charlie Manson was collecting money for Obama from the denizens of "death row", we would be hearing how it's his right to do so and how the Obama campaign is under no obligation, moral or otherwise, to refuse or return the donation.

And only Hussein would call out the donors for anyone opposing him and call them criminals.

It is a well-known fact that Charles Manson was an avid Republican. He was always in favor of a smaller and less intrusive government.

Wow!!; I thought most all of the ultra lefties had a special place in their hearts for Mumia Abu Jamal, the most celebrated cop killer our country has ever known, and who subsequently has become the cause celebre of the radical left. Where you been since 1981?

Nobody said he was convicted, but he was disgraced, as was said, and for fraudulent banking practices. Bilking his customers out of their savings, and raising money for Obama. It's a match made in liberal heaven.

Thanks for helping us make our point on this. You're been very cooperative.

You gotta understand BTK, Corzine only bilked millions of dollars from people who trusted his financial pedigree.

It's not like he couldn't quickly answer what newspaper he reads. That would have launched dozens and dozens of news stories, history has shown.

Why don't you show a modicum of self sufficiency and look for yourself. If you don't know how, just type G, O, O, G, L, E, at the top of whatever internet browser you're using. Then type "John Corzine MF Global Scandal".

You should get lots and lots of hits on that.

OK getting back on track what constructive steps can be taken by the federal government to reverse their low opinion by voters? What things can the average voter do to prompt the federal government to effect meaningful changes that translate into efficient and effective policy?

I'll start by saying irrespective of party label email your representative in the House and senate and tell them we have had enough of the nonsense and that they are quickly losing you vote
