I wanted to to take this opportunity to say "hey" to all, I am Mark and I purchased a home in the Villages (Caroline)with my wife Sue almost a year ago (June'11). I guess I was in no hurry to get this 1st post out of the way!
This is truly “another dream comes true” , my father “discovered” the Villages in the early 90’s , I still have the VHS video tape with Jennifer Parr and Robyn Leach that preceded the DVD they send out now.
My father and mother visited/rented in the Villages for many years, they dreamed of owning a home there. Sue and I came in the mid 90’s as young adults with 3 young girls and fell in love with the Villages. My dad never had the resources to buy home here and unfortunately he died before I could. My Mom cried tears of happiness when I called her and told that we had closed on our home…..
We have seen a lot of changes in the Villages over the years, the Morse family’s Michigan roots are evident in all of their hard work and attention to detail that makes the Villages such a great, great place. (I too was born/raised in Michigan!) We feel it a privilege to own a home here.
I have read so many posts from so many of you that I feel like I know some of you. You will hear more from us in the future
