Villager Mike Malloch won his flight at Country Club of Ocala in the Senior Amateur Golf Tour on North Central Florida tournament last Thursday. It wasn't so easy, though. Mike shot a 95 in regulation play and tied with fellow Villager Barry Plesser. They immediately went to the first tee, again, for the sudden-death playoff. Mike prevailed after one hole and took the C Flight victory.
Playing in the A Flight was Villager Paul Bastien, who shot an 83 to tie Wayne Morrison of Macclenny, Fl. A little trouble off the tee on the first hole of the sudden-death playoff, cost him the victory and placed him second in the flight.
The next tournament is at Alaqua Country Club in Longwood, FL, on May 19. Please reply and request more info if interestedl
