Saw the touring production of Jersey Boys yesterday in Kansas City. If you are around my age (mid-60s), and were a fan, then you MUST see this show when it is near you. It was extremely well produced and written, with each of the four original Four Seasons characters narrating a section of the show, giving their view of how the group developed and grew. I own the Four Seasons Greatest Hits CD and play it often, and the songs were right-on. We sat front row center, which helped enhance the experience - one of the best live shows I have ever seen.

TOTALLY AGREE...especially having come from Jurzeee.
Saw it on Broadway and twice with touring productions.....absolutely the best. Thought the touring was as good as Broadway.
Our time period...easy to relate and wanted to stand up and sing along. Great story line.

Absolutely Agree with the previous posters!!! My wife and I saw Jersey Boys at the Bushnell Theater in Hartford CT last year and the show was one of the best ever. If you are a fan of 60's music, you will be singing all the songs with the rest of the audience. We all know the words to all the songs!!!
We saw Frankie Vallie and the 4 Seasons back in the early 70's and it brought back many memories!!

You guys all have excellent taste. I even thought the 'bad' language was appropriate. That's Jersey!

I agree. Jersey Boys was right on. Saw it on Broadway as well as having seen The original Four Seasons a half dozen times. An honest- behind the scenes struggle with a members gambling problem, the loss of Frankie's daughter and of the Jersey handshake between Frankie Vali and Bob Gaudio that didn't need a contract or lawyer. Even if you are not a Four Season fan, check it out if you can.
