Went there Sunday about 5pm.
Six of us stood in the door way awhile no one can up to us!
Ok we sat ourself and pulled 2 tables together (no one helped)
Ok we sat > no menus > we got up and got our own menus
Ok we waited > no dinnerware > we got up and got our own
Ok we waited > no one took our order > we tried several times to stop waiters going by and finally stopped one. She said she would be back
Ok we waited > Stopped a waiter again and she wanted to take our drink order. We gave her our drink order and mean order (didn't want to wait any longer)
Ok we waited for our orders > Wow finally 2 salads came out (nothing else and 2 salads didn't ).
Ok we waited and waited and 2 meals came out the others didn't.
Ok we waited longer and then 1 more meals came out and the other salads.
Ok the last person waited and waited and finally hers came out.
In the mean time we tried to get napkins > no luck till we got up and got our own then the waitress came back with some.
Got our checks and they didn't pick the up the money so we got up and went to the register to pay ourself.
Actually I think I missed a few things but I think you get the idea.
Bottom line is we have been to some restaurants with some pretty bad service but Bravos on Sunday evening so far is by the worst. It wasn't clear there was any management around to care about anything and if there was its clear they they didn't have a clue.
BTW we did think the lasagna was great.

Wow, you picked a terrible night to visit Bravo. We've never had any problem at all with service there. Go figure.

Same here, we've never had a problem at Bravo's, and their food is pretty good, as well.
Sorry you had a bad experience. I hope if you try again that you have a better time.
My tip for their pizza: Ask for it "well done"; it'll come out more like a New York or Chicago style pizza. All the pizza parlors here tend to take the pie out of the oven too soon. Must be a "southern" thing.

Sorry you had a problem. They've always been pretty good when I go there. Especially like their linguine with white clam sauce.

I still like them. I guess I'm just a pizza junkie!

Maybe we're talking about the same thing. Do you want to see a little bit of scorching on the bottom of the crust, with the edges a bit crunchy? So that when you fold the slice it stands out nice and proud, except for maybe the very end?
That's the way I like a pie. If you like it softer, then maybe we just like different styles of pie. The worst pie I've had here is Papa John's; soft and doughy.......not my idea of good.

We eat pizza at Bravo every Monday after golf. We've never had problems but it's never crowded as it is at dinner time.

We love Bravos pizza, paper thin crust, not burned.
We go in and seat ourselves and someone comes right over.
Maybe Sunday is the day off for the regular wait staff?
I am sorry you had a bad experience but glad you enjoyed the food.
They are on our list of places to frequent for dinner.

I have never been to Bravo Pizza but will try it soon. I do like the really thin crust instead of the thick bread-like crust on most pizzas.
However, for the absolute WORST pizza in the area, Hungry Howie's in Wildwood is the hands-down winner. One of our social clubs used them recently and ordered about 45 pizzas to be delivered. I honestly could not tell if I was eating the pizza or the cardboard box.

Well, at least we're like minded in another more important area, one where our kind of thinking peserves the right to have or obtain pizza the way we want it.... crunchy or chewy!

I am with you!!! A little crispy on the bottom and you can pick the piece up without it flopping around and spilling the toppings!!!
As for the OPs post, you can never win. No one will come to your aid and eveeryone always has a great meal at the place you dis. It is one of the problems with TOTV. Which is why I do not dis places. But I was not happy with Bravo's pizza when I went there for my one and only time. Not done right and too expensive.

I just covered that thought in my poll thread so I won't re-thread it here.
As for the type of pizza you and Richie like, I can't really give an opinion on it since I've never tried it myself. I do however feel that it's great that they prepare it that way because everybody deserves to be able to get their pizza pie the way they prefer it.
Speaking on how one presents their opinions, I want to mention that I was at Athens for breakfast 8 days ago. I later made a post about that visit that was both positive and negative. I was really surprised yesterday when Christopher, the owner of Athens NY Restaurant in SS sent me a PM thanking me for my comments and an explanation on the negative part of my post which was regarding a woman's smoking outdoors. It wasn't a complaint about the smoking itself, but the circumstances surrounding it. I won't mention what I was told since it was a PM, but my point is that if I didn't present my complaint in a tactful or proper way, I doubt that he would have ever taken the time to respond and and also let me know he would like to meet me the next time I'm there.

Been to Bravo's several times. Never a problem. Once asked if we would mind moving to a certain table so they could pull 5 tables together for a large group. Had not gotten our order yet so no problem. They comped us an appetizer.
Noticed you never said how long for any of the waits. Was it a nightmare night, or was it a nightmare customer? hmmm

I'd say give them another try. We've been there twice and both times service was good and so was the pizza. Seems you just hit it at a bad time for some reason and I know the feeling as I've experienced it many times myself at other places, and the experience keeps on getting worse and worse. As Rossana Rossana Danna used to say, "it's always something--if it ain't one thing, it's another."

Wow, you picked a terrible night to visit Bravo. We've never had any problem at all with service there. Go figure.
It should not matter what night a customer chooses. Any night should be as good as another unless some extraordinary event made "the wheels fall off completely" that night.
We've always had excellent food there, but we don't go because dining inside there is like eating in a break room at work....crammed in and no atmosphere/ambience at all.

The goal is to provide consistently good service at all times. In the real world this doesn't happen. Anything from a dishwasher or server calling in sick to a pain in the a$$ customer can upset the applecart. As in all business, perfection is the goal but not the reality. In any case problems should be discussed with the manager before leaving.

Why didn't you speak with the owner when you were there??While we were there I didn't have anything that warranted asking to speak to the owner, and even more so now that he let me in on the sensitive problem he is dealing with in relationship to the smoker mentioned. Besides, his staff handled the delicate situation quite appropriately.

Sky maybe it's because Richie is from downstate and you're from upstate.
All depends on what you're used to.

It is a mistake to get the Stromboli at Bravo's - Go to Little Joey's on 441 where to stromboli is too big for the dinner plate!

Try the stromboli at Havana's. Their new chef is excellent, and the stromboli is almost too big for one person and to die for; and comes with a great slightly spicy red sauce for dipping. yumm!!

You really think that unreasonable?; They would have to cook the food and then wait for you and your party to dine.
I guess if they served reheated dishes they could have served you, but you probably would have complained about that.
I'm guessing they offered you what was available at that late hour.

I also agree about the stromboli. It makes at least a couple of meals.
