Are there any LPGA tournaments played in The Villages anymore? If not, anybody know why not?

I don't think so. I believe the reason is that there is so much play on the championship courses that folks don't want them closed for 2 weeks or more. Now, I don't know this for sure....just what I heard while golfing with some friends when the subject came up.
