I am posting this for a friend. She can be reached at (352) 233-9932 for more information.
Little Bear is a 12 year old Yorkie needing a loving new home. He is a true sweetheart. He is house-trained, up to date on his shots, and loves to sleep with you at night.
His present Mom is having a hard time making ends meet and is looking for just the right person to care for this little guy before its too late. At present, this guy is truly loved and his Mom is trying to find the perfect, secure environment for his future.
If you may know of anyone looking for to adopt, please pass this information and contact on to them.

OMGosh what a beautiful little dog. He is perfect for a senior to have as a companion. I'm not ready for a dog but he would make someone the perfect pet. I feel for the woman who cannot keep the little guy but someone here in TV will give him the perfect home. I'm .

He is so adorable. Unfortunately we have a full house right now. Otherwise I'd grab Little Bear.

I spoke with the owner this morning and no one yet. He is soooo adorable. I have two of my own or I would take him. I feel so sorry, I know how difficult this is for his owner.

Thank you for trying to find a home for your friend's pet. I love yorkies. They have wonderful personalities. I hope he doesn't have to go to a shelter. Have you tried posting on bulletin boards at Vets offices?

Great idea, the more postings the better. I wish I could take this Yorkie, but we have two dogs already. I really like the breed. Feisty and loving at the same time. Yorkies are great little dogs.

Still no word on Little Bear. I spoke with individual involved, and she had a preference for vetinary services, not the ones I currently use, so I may be out of the running :(

Wish me luck, all my dear TOTV friends. Hubby, me, and our already pet Meg (another rescue dog) will be interviewed on Thursday a/noon to see if we are a good match for Little Bear's forever home :bigbow:

We passed our interview today, and we collect Little Bear tonight. Our own little (?) dog, Meg, was equally smitten, and was very gentle with the tiny Little Bear. Meg, is a Corgie/Beagle, and resembles a rotund Corgie, with the slender legs of a Beagle, and thankfully, a combination of both breeds for her head. She is very sweet, and played with Little Bear in a gentle way. They will be company for each other, and we were equally smitten with Little Bear. Such a face!!! I will be bragging all about him, at tomorrows luncheon at Crispers. See Ya'll then. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. Sandra

I am truly happy for all of you. I am going to try and make it to Crispers tomorrow for the first time. It looks like I have a gap in my work schedule in the afternoon to do something fun.

Oh you know me too well!! Of course I offered visitation rights to the previous owner, and we both shed tears as we packed up Little Bears belongings. It was just too sad.
On a HAPPIER note, Little Bear has settled right in, and I am hoping Meg can teach him the joy of using a pet flap. We managed to get Bear in and out, with enticements, and he will be encouraged to go through the door on his own into the safely enclosed area.
