We recently have been approved to have our Owens Corning roof replaced under the class action suit. When I call the warranty dept to get a list of approved contractors, the company that has been helping me with my suit is not on "The Villages LIST". Has anyone had dealings with Bone Dry Roofing? I want to give him the business since he has been so helpful, but I don't want to hurt myself either.

I hate dilemma's like this. Sorry, Sunny, I have never heard of them. Can they give you some references of houses they have done and maybe you can call the people for their opinions? I hope TOTV members have heard of them. Good Luck.

I'd check the BBB & Seniors VS Crime first. Also check their license & insurance. Good luck.

Bone Dry is a roofing franchise throughout the South and Midwest. I have used the Lexington franchise to fix leaks and do repair work on some of my rental properties. They were reasonably priced and professional.Just get a list of references and thoroughly check them out.I would definitely recommend the Lexington branch of Bone Dry,but that's little help to you in Florida.

We used SPS Roofing to do our roof under the same Owens warranty program. They did an excellent job! In fact, the workers thought the replacement shingles didn't look right so they called their job supervisor. The supervisor called Owens, who happened to have one of their reps in the area. The Owens rep agreed the "new" shingles were also defective (yes, that is a scary thought). We were so pleased that SPS had our back on this as they could just as easily put down our new roof with the bad shingles and we would probably have never known.

I have a leak in my roof, had several people look at it and have different prices. I am thinking that I will use SPS as they put the roof on when the house was build it 2004. Has anyone had work done by them and do you recommend them?

Batterby Roofing did everything for me from filing the claim with the shingle manufacturer to doing the job. It was painless and they did a great job, dropping off shingles one afternoon and completing the job in 1/2 day.

Good luck

How did you get connected to Bone Dry in the first place?
