Is there one? (I didn't see one)
Or how many Miata owners are in TV? :eclipsee_gold_cup:
Over 800,000 made, there must be some here

The short answer is no. There used to be a club, but it disbanded in 2007 or 2008. Plenty of MX5s here.....Be great if someone started one up. I might have an old email with former club members email addresses. Red 1990, Huntington, LI

I think it depends on how many owners there are here.
Reported in AutoWeek Drivers Car Review
Mazda on 2/04/2011 built its 900,000th MX-5 Miata, raising the bar on its Guinness World Record for best-selling two-seat sports car.
The car debuted in 1989, opening a new era of affordable roadsters, which had died off in the 1970s. It took up the mantle of free-spirited, open-aired motoring started by cars such as the Triumph Spitfire, the Fiat Spider and the MGB.

fyi,
Both my older brother and myself bought 1991 Miatas. He bought the "delux" package at the time, the British racing green with tan top, leather seats which cost an additional $4,000. I bought the standard and later sold 4 years later with 50,000 miles and never gave me a bit of problem.
He traded his model this past Feb which had 250,000+ miles...And guess what he bought...another Miata but this one had the automatic convertible lift.

I understand there's no club presently, not sure we need a club per se, just like to meet up maybe once or twice a month at Brownwood there would be more room than LSL, but that can work also.
Any interest in doing something like that or what other ideas?
I know driving around here I see a lot of these great cars.

The Villages convertible club has a lot of members that own Miata's. We could join that club and just hang out as people with the same cars.

Drove our Miata to the Market of Marion yesterday and had a flyer on our windshield announcing a start-up of a Miata/MX5 Club in The Villages. Contact Jim and Jam Tomey 352 753-8675 or tomey.james@gmail.com. The are forming January 2013 and hope to get a day trip scheduled to get started. You asked for it - they answered. Hope to see you there!

Thinking of joining the convertible club and the Mini club with our Mini Cooper Convertible ... love it!!!:pepper2:

There was a telephone number and contact name for a Mazda Miata Club in the Daily Sun two days ago. Did anyone get the telephone number for the group?

I have a 1991 Miata that has a hard top that I no longer want. It is black and has a scratch on the top that was repaired. I am asking $300 or BO. Please call Gary at 919-610-4824 if interested. I live in the Villages. Thanks!
