Has anyone had experience with local caterers?
Our neighborhood is having a 'picnic' event and looking for a bar-b-que/burger type meal for about 75 people.

Call Gandolfo's in Southern Trace. We have had them cater our golf tournaments for 2 years now. They do not have BBQ and Burgers, but they have NY deli sandwiches (they're huge) and 4 different kinds of salads. Roger always gives us a great price.

I have used Sonny's to cater BBQ meals for my canoe and kayak club. Their portions are very generous and their meals include drinks, ice, utensils, cups and plates. :beer3:

If you're not going to call Gandolfo's NY Deli for your catering and truly are set on BBQ then I would call Texas Stockyard for REAL BBQ. Best I've eaten since I've been here. :ho:

I've tasted Oakwood and Sonny's catered food and Oakwood was the best by far. It's hard to get good catered ribs but Oakwood was really, really good.
